Goukens – Mertens, Caroline

Associate Professor, Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management

Caroline Goukens is Associate Professor at the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics.

She studied Applied Economics at the University of Leuven, and holds a PhD in Consumer Behaviour. Her research focuses on Innovation and Variety Tendency of Consumers. Other research interests are related to Self-awareness and Consumer Satisfaction. She has published in journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research and Journal of Marketing Research. In 2006 she taught Marketing at the University of Brussels. At present she teaches Customer Analysis at Master’s level.
